During her past time, she likes to writes poetry and enjoys spending time with her family. In 2013 Shanise started helping her husband with his business Da Bridge Effect LLC in Indianapolis, IN. working with young ladies to help express their emotion through poetry and art. She also was very instrumental in creating original lesson plans tailored to ''The Book of Emotions.'' Her hard work and dedication towards helping others is definitely motivated by Jesus Christ.
Shanise and her family moved to Madison WI where she worked as a Case Manager for Tenant Resource Center where she performed “Where I’m From” a poem she wrote from the Book of Emotions at the Social Justice Center. Her poised demeanor helped the homeless population cope with difficult times as she encouraged them to have faith and reminded them to keep pushing. From experiencing homelessness by first-hand, she quickly adapted to her work environment and became one of the leading and most sought after caseworkers in Madison.
Shanise was later interviewed by NPR news for her way of working with people from all walks of life. She even gave a heartfelt testimony at the River Food Pantry's ''Harvest Dinner'' about how she and her family went through the hardship and struggles of life but was able to endure through Jesus Christ. Shanise dedicates her time balancing work, family and her biggest enjoyment, talking about the love God shared with us all. Her sacrifice for the business and the community impacted hundreds, if not thousands of lives due to her obedience and sheer determination.
Woman of God
Shanise is working now putting together a Women Devotion Group giving inspiration through scripture and the love of Christ. The Book of Emotions's Woman of God v.1 is all about women topics. Dive into the heart of what matters to women in today's 2019. With issues stemming from abortions, sexual abuse, bullying, and so much more. Shanise Morgan (Mother of six) will help guide young women into what the bible pacifically says about that topic. This Ebook is for any young lady wanting to know how to control their emotions in any state of mind. Emotions are the very thing that defines us as a human being and is distinctive of all living creatures on earth. This gives us a wonderful advantage to rise above oppression, abuse, and also vanity. A Virtuous Woman
Proverbs 31:10-31 King James Version (KJV)
10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
14 She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.
15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.
17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.
22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24 She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
